Our Porcelain Fragrance Stone opens up a whole new way to experience fragrance and engage in aromatherapy.
Simply place a few drops of your favorite Japanese diffuser oil on the aroma stone and sit back as its soft scent naturally fills the air. Stone diffusers allow you to enjoy the pure scent of your fragrance oils without any of the troubles of incense smoke, ash, or electric diffusers. Replenish with a few drops of oil as needed.
Inspired by Japanese Arita porcelain, this fine pottery oil diffuser follows centuries of Japanese porcelain tradition.
Egg
In Japan, the egg holds a deeper and more spiritual symbolism than it does in the West. It represents fertility and new life, as well as the broader concepts of hope and purity. The concept of a cosmic egg as the source of the universe’s creation is a motif found in many ancient Eastern cultures, including Japan, China, Egypt, and Hinduism.
Tree Trunk (Kikusumi)
Kikusumi is a charcoal that comes from the chrysanthemum tree. In Japan, it is an item that has been used during the sacred tea ceremony since the 14th century. The wood is cross-cut from the tree and burnt as an incense during the ceremony, which is the inspiration for the shape of this aroma stone. The pure white color makes reference to the pure white ash that the wood leaves behind after burning.
