Joya de Nicaragua had defined the standard for full-bodied Nicaraguan cigars with their classic Antaño series. With their follow-up, the Antaño Gran Reserva, they added elegance and complexity to the blend by utilizing using only extra-aged select tobaccos. The spicy Criollo wrapper is still intact, as are the earthy Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos, but the aging process dials down the intensity to create a cigar closer to medium strength than the extreme full-bodied strength of the original.
The Antaño Gran Reserva Robusto Grande is a Robusto Extra size that smokes for approximately 75 minutes.
